30 Jun

I started of June with a mid season break in England recovering and preparing for the second part of the season.

I headed back to France for a double weekend of French national races on the Saturday my teammate made the main break so I had to roll around in the peloton, Sunday was a hiller course that I was looking forward to but crashed out 10km in finishing my day.

Next was A travers de beaujons  a 2 day stage race starting off with a hilly time trial I did what I could and limited my losses and came in 48th out of 170, Sunday was a brutal 120km mountain stage  I felt strong on the climbs but made some mistakes on the second decent loosing the gc group but managed to fight for 29th on stage 2 and 30th on gc out of 170 starters, and top 10 first year juniors.

The last weekend in June brought a race that I have been looking forward to all season region de sud uci 1.1 after crashing and getting my chain caught I manged to fight back to 41st on the mountain top finish and 14th first year junior. Then the day after I had regions de sud hautes 1.1  sadly the heat from the day before made me sick and I had to dnf.

June was a shock with the crazy heat in southern France but I learnt lots and enjoyed it, thank you again to all the sponsors that made it possible.
