29 Apr

April started of brilliantly with a block at home of traning and a nice break away from the start line.

I thoroughly enjoyed April getting to go home and catch up with my family and friends while building some solid traning in for the next block of racing and enjoying the heat wave in the uk.

I headed back out to France for pen Ar bed uci 2.1 in the middle of April  sadly I had a disappointing weekend of bad luck but I enjoyed spending my birthday weekend with my team mates in windy northern France.

The next race was Primevère Montoise a 130km 1 day race with lots of short narrow climbs  I really wanted to try and be as aggressive as possible and get up the road, and I did exactly that I spent most of the day attacking and getting up the road I got in a few promising moves but sadly I missed the main break of the day and had to settle for a reduced  bunch sprint but I learnt alott and I can be happy with the way I raced.

I have spent the rest of April preparing for my next races in the sunny south off France, really looking forward to getting stuck into 2 stage races over the next few weeks testing my legs on some hillier terrain.

Thank you all for reading and thank you to all the sponsors for supporting me in following my dreams.
